Hi everyone, new to the forum and also first time writing on it. I bought a Sierra 2500 W/T and I am doing mods to it. I am looking into rims now and the ones on it are 17X9 bolt pattern 8X180mm and the offset I measured is plus 28.58mm. (Which I am sure it's just rounded to a plus 30 offset) Some of the rims I am finding have plus 18 offset, plus 50 offset, which ones should I go with. I don't want them sticking it to far yet I don't want them to far in. I am also getting tires so will matter what the offset is on the new rim.

18 x 9 rims with 18mm offset and 11.5 inch wide tires line up the outside of the tires with the fenders. I think that is perfect myself. The tires are out a little wider than stock but don't throw mud up all over the side of the truck.

Thank you for the info. I was afraid of mud getting thrown up the side of my truck. It's my first and newest truck I ever owned so I know I am babying it a little.
