At the end of the day, A, B or C you'll be fine. A (the one that replaced the R filters) will work on non R (B) applications. You just don't want to use a non R (B) on an R (A) application. So like the 3.6 V6 LGX in the Acadia, XT5, XT6, Blazer and Camaro, or the 3.0TT V6 in the Cadillacs, you do NOT want to use what was the blue PF63 (now PF63B). You have to use the UPF63R black (now PF63A) filter due to the oil pressure those engines create on cold start that can burst a regular PF63. Once the dust settles on the supplier changes hopefully they can clear it all up and simplify things back to how they were. -

I just bought this. A minimum for me but, I don`t work anymore and don`t want the heavy update costs of the higher end tools. You would have to make money with them. https://www.topdon.us/collections/diagnostic-tools/products/artidiag-pro Even this tool has a $250.00 update cost after 2 years. -
I have an Autel, works great for what it is. Can't do some specific things because you need say the GM tool, VCDS for Audi/Volkswagon and others of course. But those times are few and far between for me. The other tool I'd like to try one day is the new Topdon scan tools. Seen several video's on them and many youtube people review them. I've never subscribed for updates or payed to do that stuff on my Autel, so I'm sure I'm missing out on some of the updates but I'm fine with that for now.
