Which years did they put the word "chevrolet" with the silver background on the tailgate?

'88-96 Fleetside Silverado trim. Stepsides had Gold letter on black.

My 97 had the CHEVROLET with the silver background until I took it off. 98's and on don't have that stupid looking gigantic sticker! My only complaint about the older body style trucks. Chris
