Hello I just bought a 08 flex fuel Silverado and I'm new to this flex fuel and was wondering to pump E85 do I have to mix it with 87 octane?

Are you sure its a Flex fuel?

Is the gas cap yellow?

No mixing.

Yes sir it's yellow so when pumping just 1 no mixing right?

Yes yellow cap, so no mixing just straight E85? Right

Correct.

Bad news is E-85 hurts fuel economy 15%.
