2017 Suburban Z71 (LT) Rear climate control question; what am I missin

Hey guys. Longtime Suburban owner (2002, 2009, and 2017), lurker, but first post. Looks like a good forum. I've just never had any issues with these vehicles that required me to post. This is hardly a big issue, but I thought I would ask the question.

Just got a 2017 Z71 'burban with Luxury package. 900 miles so far, seems great.

Drove about 150 miles yesterday in 75 degree weather, all climate controls off (or so I thought). Pulled into the garage, and clean fresh water was dripping from front and rear of chassis as if I had the AC on.

I looked and I looked to see what might be ON to cause condensation (compressor to run); the REAR climate control setting said 67 degrees. I pushed the on/off button and a single teeny little LED hash mark under the "fan" sign disappeared. Nothing else changed. I practically need a friggin magnifying glass to see it (yes, I have good eyeglasses). So I assume that even though the front climate control was off, the rear can be on? Is there any other way to tell if the rear system is "on" aside from that tiny hash mark?

Could the AC compressor be running for the rear even though the front/main system is off? IIRC this would be different than our 2009. Any experts care to comment? I did RTFM and couldn't find anything on this.

Thanks in advance.
