2016 Silverado z71 emblem help!!?!?

Hello friends

 

I'm replacing the emblems on my black 16 z71 Silverado, I'm going with the glass black ones, I've found factory replacements that are professionally painted for my side doors but I'm having trouble finding one for my grill! I'm wondering how the emblem is held on? Every one that I find has a screw set up, and doesn't specifically say it's for a 2016. I felt around and I don't feel any screws on the setup now. And I'm worried if I take it off to be painted then I won't be able to get it back on. Has anyone removed it? And does anyone know of a aftermarket one?

It has an adhesive backing like the other emblems. I removed mine and color matched the Z.

 

 

On my wife's Midnight Colorado, I pealed off the red vinyl and layed down some gloss black vinyl.

Awesome, I had no idea it was just red vinyl, that colour matched emblem looks amazing, but I think I'll just do the same as what you did with your wife's black Colorado!
