Ok Classic rock fans here's our poll.

If I'm missing a couple of bands (I know I am), they can be put in another cage match.

If there's some up here that don't belong (Thank my mother, I asked her to name some classic bands).

One #### of a tough choice between Skynard and ZZ Top. Skynard came out on top though, Sweet Home Alabama and Freebird have to be two of the best songs ever written.

I actually through a loop in there, I voted for Steely Dan. I love their "smooth" sound.

I think this group should've been broken down some more. Skynyrd & Steely are so different, they need their own categories (CSNY too). I voted for Skynyrd, but from a pure rock & roll sense. But for mellowing out, Steely Dan can't be beat.

Dang tough one, guys. My ultimate is "The Boss", but that's another story - don't want to get me started.

I voted for Skynyrd for true R&R, but awful hard to beat ZZ!

Holy crap, that is tough.

I am torn between Skynyrd and Speedwagon. I love ZZ Top and old Van Halen, too.

Crap....Boston and Eagles too. I didn't even see those at first. I might not even be able to pick a Top 5. I've really been hit by the nostalgia bug again recently.
