Dome light won't turn on

For my 04 silverado the done light won't turn on. I have checked all my fuses for it and the switch as well. Replaced The bulb and didn't even. Light up at all, but The 2 door lights come on but no dome light any ideas of what it is to do next

I have a 2007 classic and I have the same problem with my dome lights, when I press the button they won't turn on. But when I use the scroll for dimming my dash and turning on all of my inside lights, then the dome lights turn on. I think mine doesn't work because I switched to LED dome lights but it might work for your truck too.

I'll have to try that. I thought about changing the housing of the dome light to see if that is the problem. I tried the dimmer switch all the way up and doesn't do anything.

There is a button on the dash by the slider that is for some light on or off when doors are open

I have an '03 sierra, I replaced one of my dome lights with an led and it will not turn on when I press the button. If I turn on the passenger light that has a stock bulb, then my led will turn on. My dome light will not come on no matter what I do. Could it be that the LEDs won't work in my truck?
