wiring harness and engine swap

Hi, i`m in need of help . I am looking at purchasing a 2010 Silverado 1500 LT with a 5.3 ltr. engine in It. It has been sitting for a while, the wiring shorted to an injector line and caught on fire. It has aprox 120000 kms on itI have a 2011 Silverado 1500 LS with a 4.8 ltr. engine that is a write off with only 17000kms on it . Both trucks have the same transmission 4L60-E . I`m pretty sure the engine will bolt right in but I`m wondering if the wiring harness will work on the 2010 from the 2011. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Mike
