It's a 2WD, LQ4 6.0 Vortec, I believe the 4L60E(or is it 80?) 4.10 gears, locking diff, aux battery.

Stickered at $29,237, with my GM Supplier discount and Chevy rebate, non GM ownership rebate and GM Card rebate, I ended up paying $21,600 before taxes and fees.

The automatic slushpump

The automatic slushpump

You mean the location of the automatic's shift selector being on the column rather than on the floor, or the idea of an automatic itself? If the former, I agree but not enough to get worked up about it, if the latter.... oh yeah.

But, where I am, I prefer automatic. Being in Houston work hour traffic is not fun with a standard: in-clutch-out-clutch-n-clutch-out-clutch-n-clutch-out-clutch-n-clutch-out-clutch-n-clutch-out-clutch-n-clutch-out-clutch-n-clutch-out-clutch-n-clutch-out-clutch-n-clutch-out-clutch-n-clutch-out-clutch--- just to go 1/4 a mile. :D

I am not a fan of automatics at all, but when I was inquiring, the salesman basically told me that even though they offer the 5 speed, it was virtually impossible to get the manual trans.

Also my truck seems to be the only one of it's kind in NJ, they had to go to NY to get it for me since they had none similar on the lot(they had over 100 to choose from).

What is that, say, about a 100 mile drive--tops? For a vehicle transfer from one dealer to another to get the kind of truck a customer desires? You should live in Texas. grinnnn Oh, 300 miles here, 700 miles there. grinnnn
