Cheap Fuel Pumps

So my fuel sending unit rusted out causing gas to leak (pump itself didn't go bad) O'reilly auto wants about 300$ for a new fuel pump, but i have done some looking and you can get the same fuel pump on Ebay for about 60$. Has anyone had any experience with cheap fuel pumps and weather the O'reilly one is a total rip.

Why not just get an ACDelco off of RockAuto? Don't go the cheap one you will be taking it out in two months when it goes bad.

Unless you are selling this truck next week, CHEEP = the lowest AC Delco or Delphi pump you can buy (where ever).

Only way I would put a cheap pump on is if I were trading the truck in TODAY. That next week crap would bite me in the ass tomorrow.

 

Put a Delco pump on it and be done for 10 years.

I ended up getting the acdelco pump, still about the same cost as O'Reilly but hopefully will last until the northern rust reclaims the rest of the truck. Thanks guys

I put a Dorman in mine about 25k ago and have had no issues. It was about 60 to 70 dollars.
