Window regulator issue

Hi

 

So have a problem with the passenger window on a yukon denali. The passenger window has become loose and getting stuck going down and then not coming up properly and making a 'clack' type sound. So I took the door panel of and upon closer inspection the two 'pads' in the first picture below are going down when the window down button is pressed but are not really taking the window with it. When the window up button is pressed the 'arms' in the second picture are raising but the right pad then gets stuck under the window making the 'clack' noise while the left pad goes over as it should.

 

So to me the 'arms' are working and the motor is working but there is just no grip. Im sure I will have to take the other metal panel off to investigate further but is there anything I should look for in particular to tighten etc. or am I likely to need a whole new assembly?

 

Any info would be appeciated.
