4x4Pete Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Looks good! How are the in channel vent visors from AVS? I had chevy ones on my 1500 they were good, no issues with the windows. I'm thinking of getting some for the 2500 just not sure of brand.
revrnd Posted May 25, 2017 Author Posted May 25, 2017 The shop that I deal w/ sells the AVS brand & another (I don't recall the other brand). They recommended the AVS. I've known the installer for years & he made a comment after install that the added visor didn't cause any issues when he tested the power window operation. I had read elsewhere on here that folks were having issues in this regard.
grandpalarry777 Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 I installed the AVS Bug Deflector on my 2016 Silverado 2500 HD. It looks great and was easy to install. I also installed the AVS In-Channel Ventvisors at the same time. While I have only had them installed for a couple of months, all seem to be performing well. I also installed a Peragon bed cover. It is an interesting design and I think it looks good.
revrnd Posted May 26, 2017 Author Posted May 26, 2017 Are you adding a manual or power rear slider? A manual slider from CR Laurence
revrnd Posted May 27, 2017 Author Posted May 27, 2017 Forgot to mention that last week I had the 3M pait protection applied to the front end sheet metal & on the step ins/rockers.
