Sausage racing turns dangerous

Heard about this on the radio yesterday morning and thought it was too funny, just had to share it with everyone. It actually did make national news and was all over sports center.

Don't worry, there is a video of the sausage getting swatted.

Anyways, my favorite line I heard was... "Simon's never let 4 go by in his life so he had to take a swing."

My dad had a good one too, but it's a bit too risque for the forum...

I saw the replay of the incident on TV. I think the officials blew the whole thing out of proportion. The guy barely tapped her and he hit the head of the foam suit not her. I second the vote for making him run the bases in a sausage suit. Heck that suit looks better than the old San Diego Padres yellow and brown hot dog uniforms.
