Need help with 99 silverado issues

My 1999 chevy silverado 5.3 ex cab has been having some issues for a while now and hoping some one can give some insight. When I use my key to unlock my truck in the driver door my factory alarm goes off. When I unlock the truck from the passenger door the alarm doesn't go off and sometimes the alarm will just randomly go off in the middle of the night or day. I also got a aftermarket alarm installed and it didn't make any difference. Also I'll be driving and on the dash my parking brake and abs lights will come on and will remain on until the truck is turned off and it doesn't always come on at the same time. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Do you lock the truck using the key FOB? If so it is normal for the horn to go off if you try unlocking the truck with the key and not the FOB.

No I haven't used it in a couple of years. I lock it with the buttons on the door.

I'm wondering if the wires in the key cylinder in the drivers side door are wearing out or broke. These things were made to be locked and unlocked primarily with the FOBs vs the key.

I'll have to check on that. One of the things I've heard it could possibly be is the bcm
