I really wanted to believe him but I heard a reporter on an AM talk show state that guests surrounding his room reported a major disturbance the night and about the time this supposedly took place, not to mention the fact that hotel security was called to validate the complaint.

I hope it isn't true but it sure seems that the days of being able to have any kind of faith in a sport star are long gone.

I believe him for now. I figure this girl saw an opportunity to mae some money and either went into this with every intention of accusing him, or decided after they hooked up that she could get rich off of it. Everything I've seen on CNN, ESPN, and FOX so far has lead me to believe that he's innocent of sexual assault, but stupid for commiting adultry.

 Well after the evidence is in I think that he's guilty and that the facts will prove that he's just watching out for his own A$$ now! The power trip that these ppl take avantage of everyday, thinking I'll never get caught or if I do I'll plead innocent to the matter! Doh! Kobe f##ked-up and he'll have to pay for his 15 minutes of pleasure!

His lawyer should have never let him speak in that news conference last night. He might have had a chance then. But as soon as he took the microphone, and started that tounge in cheek, head bobbin, rollin' his eyes crap, I knew he was guilty. Any innocent person would have no problem speaking right up and telling what happened. He took too long, and said too little. He's only copping to the adultry plea now because getting sentenced to life with a mad wife is a lot better than 20 - Life in an 8x10 cell with Bubba, who makes you his new boy toy. Funny how he didn't admit to the adultry until the last minute (trying to save his A$$).

Yeah, I was surprised that they let him talk as well. In a situation like this, I'd be keeping my mouth shut until court time.

The sports stars are living in a world of their own. They thing they can do anything they please because everyone coddles them from high school through college. Once they make the bigs they are filthy rich and dont know how to handle it.

He is screwed. He chose to hook p with a mentaly fragile woman who probably looked sweet but had the dark side. Thats why you shouldn't jump into bed with someone you don't know. I think he will get off easy but at what cost? Is his marriage down the tubes? Thousands of dollars in a settlement? Loss of marketablilty ? That is the one that will cost him the most.

I'm with you Elwood!

A womans word is all it takes for a man to be guilty. Truth seldom matters.

Well I heard that she doesn't even want the money. She just wants to put him behind bars. Unless that is a clever way of really wanting the money. But I say Guilty untill prooven inocent.

Later,

Brandon
