Engine(?) Shudder

Hey guys,

 

Truck developed a new problem shortly after hitting 55k miles. Best I can describe it as is an engine shudder of some kind. Doesn't matter the speed or RPMs and the RPM tach jumps a little when it happens, maybe 100 or so RPM. Must be under load. Parked/neutral doesn't make it happen and I haven't felt it while coasting or braking. Sometimes does it from a take off and the whole dang truck shakes side to side. Spoke to mechanic at work, he was thinking misfire. No check engine light or pending faults according to his scan tool so might just pull and inspect all spark plugs this weekend.

 

Had TCC service bulletin done back at like 20k miles so don't think it's that but never know, I guess.

 

Any ideas/thoughts appreciated. Let me know if you need more info.

Well crap. Guess I"ll be spending the next week arguing it out with the local dealer. Thanks for the help
