A/C help please!!

i have a 2000 silverado v8 the a/c won't turn off. don't matter how i set the controls

i get in it in the morning and it's still cold. any ideas sure would be apprecated !!

Make sure you don't have the "recirculate" button pressed or the vent pointing towards the defrost... both of those will cause the compressor to kick in.
