Issue with automatic start

So today I installed LED turn signals in my 2017 Silverado LT with resistors and I don't get any errors so I know that I did everything correctly but now that I've done this mod I can't remote start my truck? Anyone ever have anything happen like this before?

Engine light is on too?

Remote start will not work when the check engine light is on. You will need to have that checked and cleared before it will start working again.

What if I added the led turn signals won't that void warranty

They would have to prove that your modification(s) caused the issue.

 

As far as the check engine light, take it to your local parts store. They will read the code, tell you what it means, and will clear it for you, upon request. I go to O'Reilly. Auto Zone does this, too.
