Bilstein + RC lift????

I have a 2015 Silverado 4x4. I have a RC 3.5in “lift/leveling” kit. I did this to clear 33s with -24 offset wheels. Well the Truck rides like ass and I think I’m hitting the grown phase in my life and I want a smoother ride. However I still want to maintain the look. My research has led to one solution which is the  Bilstein front and rear shocks/struts. My question is would I set them to stock height being I already have a lift? Or would I max them out at 2.5 and add a 1in strut spacer and remove the RC lift? Yes I have 22” wheels with E load tires. Truck has never had a real smooth ride from stock. Love Chevy but Ford kicked their ass in this category. Thanks for the help.

Bilstein recommends to not run a spacer with the 5100’s. They’re only like 1.85” of height at the max setting. Adding a spacer on top of the lift from the shocks and your ball joints will commit suicide. If you’re still considering he 3.5-4” range, I’d probably go with a 4” suspension lift.

A set of cognitos are like 500 with the uniball. That’ll help the ball joint issue, but you’ll still have the rough ride like crap feel.
