"Command not understood. Your command was still not understood." Bluetooth dialing problem

When dialing with bluetooth commands, I'll hit the talk/phone button on the steering wheel. "Call mom." It comes back and says there are multiple numbers listed, do you want to call home or mobile? So I arrow down to mobile and press the middle select button on the steering wheel. About 90% of the time that I do this I get "Command not understood. Your command was still not understood." Press select again. Same error. Press select a third time and it does like it should. 

 

Is anyone else seeing this problem and is there a fix for it other than saying "Mobile."

The GM bluetooth lady doesn't understand anything I say! I'm thinking it's my Boston accent! LOL!

Siri understands, so that's what I use (CarPlay).
