The warning sign  says Engine Hot turn off A/C.  I will be charge again so much for this if I take it to the dealer to fix.  Can anyone help a working Lady  and give an idea what is really the problem?  I have read all the information from same issues from the blog. Please tell me if it is worth fixing it or just ignore it?

Whatever you do, just don't ignore it or you will end up stranded on the side of the road somewhere and more than likely somewhere you don't want to be. If you're not comfortable doing the most elementary things under the hood like checking the coolant level, go to social media and find a community group to ask for recommendations for a good local mechanic that would be way less expensive than a dealer. Good Luck!

Does it have a Check engine light on? That's a little orange light looks like a funky square that GM thinks looks like an engine. If it does I would recommend either going to a local parts store and having them read the code and come back and let us know what it is or purchase a cheap code reader. http://amzn.to/2zeGNRy  Bringing us the codes can help us help you better.

Does it come on right when the truck is cranked even if the engine is cold? If so it probably has a DTC P0128 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature code set, and it may only need a thermostat to repair it.

If it doesn't come on right when the engine is started and it takes a few minutes to come on you may be running low on coolant which could become a major problem if it isn't addressed.

Just need a little more information to help you further.

Also check the coolant level. Here is a picture of how you can locate and find it.
