Ahhhh, Almost done w/ the body lift.  We got the bodylift itself done today, now we just need to reinstall the front end stuff and the rear bumper, plus the big meats and lift lips.  Most of the install went pretty smoothly.  Moving the fuel lines by the 4x4 linkage cable was a big PITA.  I'd like to thank Joe a lot for coming up and helping out w/ a lot of the work.

But, we started about 1pm and just left at 12am, so I figure just a few hours tomorrow to put all that stuff back on.   The truck looks great now, definetly an improvement.  It's finally as tall as me.

new lift and tires, it'll be like a new truck. when you put on the lift lips you should spray the wheel well with some ruberized undercoating. it will look really good. cant wait to see some pics

Not to shaby for one day - I a$$ume that you have hundreds of detailed pictures? :D

Just uploaded the ones from yesterday, 117, but a few of those are us goofing off.  It should help out anyone else who's doing one.

illmac, that's the plan, going to take it to the place i got my spray in bedliner done and have him do the wheel wells, the guy does a good job so I figure it'll look sweet and really hide the body lift.

I just got out of the shower, after this I'm getting some food and off to finish that truck up, but I am so sore, it feels like I got beat up last night, and in a way I did.

Wait a second, your sore!!?!  I was under your truck more than you were!  I feel like I got my @$$ beat last night, still aching & hurting all over, but the truck looks awesome and makes it all worthwile.  Think about how it'll look with the bumpers and front end back on!

Its going to look so cool that you will be afraid to drive it - probably just hide it under a cover in the garage and look at it in candle light on special occasions while sipping fine cognac.

Maybe Paco could fix you up with an "everyday street" truck. :D

"Hi, my name is Joe, and I work in a button factory. One day, my friend calls me and goes 'Hey Joe, can you help my lazy a$$ put a body lift on my Base model truck?'."  :D

Looks nice Jon. :D

Good job Joe. :D

Joe, don't make me mention a few other things you did that caused my heart to stop beating, you don't want to be the laughing stock of the forum ;)

But seriously, Joe did a lot of work, wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty, just jumped right in.

I'm uploading the pics now, so check on my webpage in about a half hour

Now just squint real hard and picture the valence and lift lips (I'm getting to it)

Dang antenna hits the garage door when I pull in, can I just snip off a few inches?
