Oil pressure relief valve: to remove or not?

It is an AFM Pressure relief valve... So if you disabled the AFM you won't need the valve. With that being said... You don't have to remove it because you won't have AFM Pressure spikes in the VLOM causing the need for a pressure relief situation, so you will never use it. On the other hand it could get weak and start leaking causing a low oil pressure concern. But you can't just remove it completely. You would need to block it off.

The part number for the relief valve is 12608835 and the manual says it is a 1/2 thread. For some reason though I was thinking it was 3/8. Even the size of it on amazon looks like a 3/8. But I am gonna go with the specs. lol

1/2 brass plug - http://amzn.to/2znz5oq ($5)

3/8 plug (just in case) - http://amzn.to/2BnoQ4M  ($4)

You don't think it will be too much oil pressure with it plugged do you? I have the stock pump on the truck and I'm slightly worried it might be too much pressure if I was to plug it.

The only time it relieves pressure is when the AFM deactivates. If you disabled the AFM it will never work anyway.
