Hi i have a 01 gmc 1500 2wheel drive i was just wondering what other suv or tuck i can take the transmission out of and hopefully just bolt right back up

The sun gear and shell are so easy to replace. If you have the skills to remove the transmission you easily have the capability to replace these. Once you have the transmission out, it literally takes 20 minutes to change it and you get a better gear and shell then what came in it and what you're gonna get at a junk yard for a fraction of the price. It really is the way to go. for 50$ you can be better off than you were and better off then some junk transmission.

So is that for just siarras or all gmc that cames with the 4l60e

All Chevrolet and sierras came with the same 4l60e from 200 to 2006. Only thing that seperates them is the four wheel drive

Ok thaks man ive never ben big on  transmission i was going to keep the one in my truck now and slowly learn how to build one up
