06 silverado tie rod help

I have a lifted 06 silverado.  I broken an inner tie rod, ordered two from Moog before looking at my part and got the wrong part. I can not find this inner toe rod end anywhere.  Picture posted.  Is it possible this isn't an inner tie rod?

That is an outer tie rod.

let me make one suggestion. If you're gonna be PLAYING in the mud get a proforged tie rod end. So much more durable.

It turns out that my inner tie rods are from a 96 chevy! I honestly don't know what the person who had this truck before me was doing.  

     Now my problem is that the sleeve on my truck is 16" and the one for the 96 and 06 are both way shorter.   Does anyone know if when a truck is lifted, do you get extended tie rod sleeves?

Your steering system has been modified due to the lift. The picture you posted is nothing like the steering setup on a stock truck. On a stock truck the inner tie rod would be threaded to the center link, and there is no adjuster sleeve.

Does anyone know if this is normal for a lifted truck or is this all Mickey Moused together?

The steering linkage they would have used (if they had common sense) would look something like this. http://amzn.to/2nCfuPW It is a sleeved linkage. This one won't work for your truck. I am just giving you an idea of the setup they used from the parts you showed.

 

If I had more information I could lead you in the right direction for the repair.

 

Personally I would just replace my center bar with 30.5 (plenty of length) and work my way out. That way you know what you have and you're not building Frankenstein.  That's just me though.
