The day after I had my truck in some deep snow (up to bumper) I started to get a service 4wd warning at start up. About a week after I started getting service stabilitrac warning and abs warning that is intermittent. Any idea what I should look for? Everything is functioning fine. No issues in and out of 4wd. Abs works when light is on. No weird noise or loss of control.

Any high quality scan tool will be able to read the codes stored in the BCM for those systems.

I had the same code (not equipped with Stabilitrak, so N/A there) in my '07 Silverado - ended up being a faulty 4x4 switch (dial on the dash). GM kicked that can down the road until I was out of warranty, and had to buy it out of pocket.

If by some chance you're still under the bumper-to-bumper warranty, make them fix it ... and don't take no for an answer. The code IS stored, no matter what they tell you. The Advance Auto / Autozone / O'Reilley's scan tools won't be able to access it.

Once you get the codes,  you'll have some direction on what the problem might be. You may have just pulled the wires out of the front differential that engage the 4x4. Could also be an issue with the ABS sensors on one, or both, the front wheels.
