Anyone add leafs from a 2500 to a 1500, for rating and slight lift???

I have not, but, I will say it would probably work better than adding the hellwig kit like I did. Those things are a joke! No matter how I adjust my preload tension, The empty ride is awful! I DO NOT RECOMMEND HELLWIG OVERLOAD SPRINGS!

You’d get close to the same result as far as ride goes.

it will ride rough empty if you do it. I did it on my 2013 and saw no lift at all from it. but the truck was able to handle loads better. when it was empty it rode like a dump truck until i put bilsteins on. The 5100s helped make it more tolerable with little to no weight in my bed.
