Fix steering wheel micro-tear?

I’ve got a tiny tear in the leather on my steering wheel.  Honestly, I believe it was like this from day 1 when I bought it new.  30,000 miles later, it’s not REALLY enough to bother me, but I do feel it from time to time.

 

Should I just use nail clippers, trim the tab and call it a day?  Maybe a tiny dab of superglue?  And/or is it even worth talking to the dealership about it?

A new wheel is about $250.  I would think a tiny dab of glue would work since it's so close the stitching.  I doubt they would replace your wheel for that, but you won't know for sure unless you ask.

I’ve seen people come in for smaller defects than that. Get it replaced.
