Rear LED turn signals?

Has anyone changed the normal bulbs to LED for rear turn and/or brake? Worth it? Any advantages/disadvantages? Does it look weird if you only do rear turns and not front?

I did, my advise, use red led’s not white. Here’s a pictures of the set up. You will need resistors.

 

I used that loctite tape to adhere the resistors to the inside of the twilight hole. They are still holding.

 

I love how crisp the on/off is with LEDs. I used indirect light bulbs because I didn’t want hot spots, wanted a nice even light.

White LEDs will look pink behind the red tailgate lense.
