Hello,

I just bought a 2018 Sierra Denali ultimate and I want to change the reverse light bulbs and license plate light bulbs and cargo light bulbs to white ones and add a leg tailgate bar with brake turn signals and reverse.

does anybody have any recommendations?AD27F0C0-4301-47FB-9D50-8965BD5F874C.thumb.jpeg.4afd4dc766597ce647707c4b832041cb.jpeg

For the lights look at Diode Dynamics I use them for my cargos and plate lights. Their cool white match the factory bed lights well. Most of their stuff is 3 year warranty, you choose your color/lumens, have install instructions/vids if needed, and they are a American company.

What bulb model do you use? I see on the website they have different models for different prices

For the plate lights went with the SMD2 cool white 24 lumens $8 bucks for the pair, plenty bright enuff for me.

Cargos HP36 cool white 210 lumens $40 pair a lot brighter than stock don’t use the cargos much so couldn’t see spending $50 more on the XP50s for 200 more lumens.

I haven’t done reverse lights yet (been waiting to score some 16+ factory LEDs) but it’s the same two options as above. My stockers seem good enuff with the reverse cam so when I do them I’ll probably go with the HPs again. I’ll probably do the 3rd brake light LED HP5 red 92 lumens $10 bucks (if I remember right there’s only one?) at the same time just so everything on the rear will be LED then.

Things to keep in mind.

If a led light doesn’t work after testing before install pull it out and reverse it 180 degrees in the socket.

When removing/installing third brake light be mindful of the gasket on the assembly not to pinch it. Last thing anybody wants to do is cause a interior leak.

If putting a LED light behind a colored lens use that color LED bulb. White light will make the lens appear pale/faded.
