2015 high oil pressure pump stuck in stage 2?

2015 Silverado 53k when I started and drove my truck the oil pressure stayed around 60 or 70 psi until I shut it off and restarted it ran for maybe15 min. This was all below 3500rpm is it possible that the pump got stuck ,Has anyone encountered this before?

It is possible for the pressure relief valve to get stuck.  I don't know if believing the dash gauge is a good idea.  Get mechanical gauge and hook it up temporarily and see if it's actually high, or if it's just a gauge issue.
