Video in motion

Anyone have a good way to enable video in motion. I have movies on a flash drive and can play them on my i05 radio but only in park. I remember back when I had a double din head unit in a old truck you could just put a ground wire to the "parking brake" wire and everything would work. They sell modules that will do this online, but there has to be a better way.

The best way to do this is to purchase an HMI unlock or a pre unlocked HMI as it adds even more features including video formats IE DIVX etc..

I highly recommend an unlocked HMI. I've used 2 Lockpicks in the past on my 2010 Silverado and both failed on me. I had my HMI on my 2016 Silverado unlocked and would do it again in an instant. Okay. That sounds like it would be worth doing. What kinda features can I add? Screen mirroring for my cell? Or backup camera on whenever you want it? That kinda thing? I'm definitely interested.

There are various different options/features along the lines you have mentioned, from screen mirroring to Blu-ray/DVD capabilities to a single rearview camera up to 360 cameras. I would contact either MVI (Anthony Brush - www.gm-navigation.com) or WAMS (Chris White - www.whiteautoandmedia.com) to get all the details as they offer more stuff than I've mentioned. I've bought stuff from both MVI and WAMS and highly recommend both.
