has anyone installed a trans temp gauge in the inst. cluster an 02 p/u

The easiest way to do it is to buy a cluster from an HD truck... it is a plug and play deal!!! You will have to have your milage transferred by a speedo shop though...

Yep. You can't add it to your existing cluster.

 

Another option is install an external gauge

jbo, I have good news for you. You CAN add a trans temp gauge to your existing cluster. Contact the good folks at www.usspeedo.com. They can furnish everything you need for the 02 as well as for an 03. I am debating spending the money to convert mine.

you also might want to think about an escalade cluster

 

i have a silver face in mine and would never go back to stock

 

you can also get the white face or original escalade cluster
