I just bought a 2003 GMC Seirra, I've been thinking about changing the grill on it, I've seen pictures of 99-02 Sierras with different grill inserts but I'm having trouble finding them for the 03's. So if anyone has a link to a website that sells them or just has a picture that would be great.

Also I was wondering if all the wheels on the Seirras are the same size, my truck has 245's on it now and I want to upgrade to 285's. My brother has 03 Seirra and he put 285's on his, but his truck had 265's from the factory and the wheels are a different style. So I was wondering if there all the same size, I don't wanna buy the 285's and find out they don't fit on my wheels.

Thanks for the help.

I'm sure somebody sells a grill insert for you... things changed for '03 but I'm sure someone can help you out!!!

Not all the wheels from the factory are the same size... steel vs. alloy etc...

No tire manufacture will recommend putting 285's on a stock GM rim because the width is too narrow. However, alot of guys here have mounted 285's and claimed there is no problem...

Good Luck, and welcome to the forum!!! :wtf:

Be prepared to cut your front air dam if you put 285's on your truck. The '03 air dam is body color and wraps around the front. I didn't want to cut mine and opted for the 265 tires. I saw a dark green '03 that had 285's on it and a cut air dam and it looked pretty good. Not sure how it would have been on my pewter truck. I think the color under the paint is black, so I would have to repaint it or tried to touch it up somehow. 285's really do look the best so maybe after I wear these out and the truck gets a few scratches in it, it won't hurt so bad to cut on it.

Thanks for the link, they had just the stuff I was looking for.

I don't think I'll have to cut my front air dam to fit the 285's, my brother didn't on his 03. I was worried about my wheels being wide enough, they're aluminum wheels, but all the Sierra's I've seen around with 265's on them have a different style aluminum wheel.

Thanks for all the help.
