GM/Firestone???

I just heard on CNN that GM as signed a contract and is going to start using Firestone Tires.  Is this true?

They were using Firestones for a while.  My truck came with them.  The last couple years though, they ones on the lot here have had Generals or Goodyears.  Havn't heard any recent news about it though.
