Need help with led harness

Recommended Posts

So I went in on the group by for the LEDs on your hood. It came with everything but I want to be able to turn them on with one of my home link buttons instead of installing the physical on and off switch. I was on Amazon looking at wireless adapter for the led light harness. I was wondering what people have for recommendations? Or what they think is worth using?

Thanks

i have the wireless harness for my 32' led bar.... they have several to choose from... and they come with a remote.. thats all you need.. then, you just use the on and off button on the remote to connect to your homellink.. just like you'd setup a garage door opener....  my truck has 3 homelink buttons..  and you'll need two of those for your LED's.... one for on, one for off... its really simple.. you can look in your owners manual on how to connect those.

mine is similar to this... there's an on/off/strobe/flash...

but if your running two lights you might have to tap the cables for your second light.. .. but its easy... one to battery ground, one to battery positive.. then plug the lights.. .. sync the homelinks... done!....

I was looking at that one and a few others on Amazon and eBay. Is there a particular reason why the on and off buttons are two different buttons? I would like not to use up two of my home link buttons.
