K2XX Bug Deflector

Howdy GMT,

I was given this free bug guard from my moms coworker off his 2016(?) Silverado. It looks like it fits my 2018, but it’s also got some nasty sharp clips to hook it on. I’m going to try and sandwich a rubber washer between the clip and hood. Any other suggestions? I don’t want to mar the hood and would definitely add some mounting tape if it helped. Thanks in advance!7b26c87499cd53df2ab43c3a73e98d12.jpg43076bdc9ab13fa047bb4745c890ffb6.jpg
