GM " Extended Warranty"

Can anyone tell me for certain if you must go to a GM dealer for extended warranty work , or will a certified ASE Mechanic be enough for them to cover the charge ? Thanks

If you have the GM extended warranty (whether its a Chevy, GMC, etc), you MUST go to the dealer (Chevy, GMC,ect) for it to be covered. If you have it done elsewhere, you are going to be charged for the part by what ever dealer you get the part from, and more than likely by the mechanic too.
