8L90 Torque Converter Shudder

Mine just started doing the shudder described to a T in PIP5337E, but I'm out of warranty (mileage) on my 2 year old truck and am looking for direction on how to escalate this with GM to get some coverage on what looks to be a >$1,000 repair.  Any advice and/or direction would be appreciated.  Thanks, Richard.

Is it covered under your powertrain warranty. Contact GM customer service. Go across the Fla line into GA and purchase an extended warranty as they are much cheaper out of state.
