Collision Avoidance Cam

Hi everyone,

 

New to the forums and I had a quickie.

 

On the rear view camera for the Collision Avoidance on my 2018 Sierra, the camera appears to have a white piece of paper covering it (see attached pick)

 

Should I be seeing an actual camera lens or is this white sticker, paper, or whatever supposed to be there?

That is not the camera. That is the front facing light sensor and normal. That is used for the auto dimming function. The camera is actually in the black blob around the base of the mirror.
