I have a bet going on and need some assistance. I have a 2004.5 2500hd. I don't believe it has ever been in an accident. I bought it 6 months ago, first Chevy truck.  My buddy that is a Chevy guy told me that my grille and or hood is incorrect on my truck. Due to the gap under front of the hood and atop the grille. I have only seen one other pic of a truck online that stated his truck was a 2004.5.   Is this the correct front end for my truck. I have the area circled that is in questioned.
