Park Assist Odd Behaviour

So I have owned this Silverado about a month and have drive through several hard rainstorms and it has sat out in rainstorms with no problem.  This morning (it rained good last night here), the Park Asisst showed a target close off the port bow every time I came to a stop, later in the day after maybe 30 miles of driving, all cleared up. 

 

I verified there was no obstruction on the front bumper sensors.  

 

Is this a known issue?  Any fix?  Not critical, but a lot of seat buzzing today.

My 2016 would do the same thing, always after a rain. Didn't have to be raining any longer. It's like it would take a day for all the water to dry out of the sensors. Occasionally it would do it on a totally dry day, out of the blue, while sitting at a stoplight.

Dealer checked all sensors (broke one and had to replace in the process). Finally checked and found a software update.

That update fixed the issue, but I have noticed that it no longer beeps with each increase in the "sonar" bars on the DIC as I get closer to an object. The bars increase, then the speakers blare when you're right up against the object.

If it is not working correctly, take it back while you still have warranty.  I only have the rear sensors and find the initial warning beeps have saved me in the past.  I try not to rely on sensors and cameras but they certainly are  useful when they operate properly!
