  1. I also have a 2016. Built in Dec 2015. I purchased Jan 2016. Battery was getting weak and replaced in Jan 2021. I also opted for the Interstate MTX-94R H7. Paid $158 at my local mechanic, and it came from the distributor the day before. Could I have saved? Maybe, but it was under MSRP on Interstate site and it was a local small business. Getting the old one out was far worse than putting the new one in, for me anyway.
  2. Still looking? Local guy on Facebook Marketplace has some for a crew/extended in Summit White. $50 for the set. Handles only, no mirror caps. There are a set of mirrors from another seller, complete with white caps for $125 shipped.

  4. 23233850 looks to be the set in black. There are individual part numbers for each door if you want to go that route. Check ebay, most listings have the part numbers.

  7. Same. Then one of the discussions showed up on the suggestions in Tapatalk and I was able to add it back. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  8. WTF? They must have used different sensors and harnesses in those attached to a 5.3, or the torque of the 6.2 causes problems in these electronic parts (LOL). Those with the 5.3 have the same issue. SMDH.
  9. I doubt it is the cause of all the complaints. Mine has had those symptoms since nearly new, as does a buddy's. Probably gets worse under this condition. I do think this is the same issue members have posted on here: https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/224729-Money-Light-on-8-Speed,-P0700+P0711
  10. The change from 2016 to 2017 was going from analog to digital. I purchased a 2017 Tahoe and the dealer threw in the wrong headsets, from a 2016. Took a trip to the dealer to figure out the reason they wouldn't work was because they were the older analog ones and not the new digital. Once I got a digital set, worked fine. Still have the analog set I'm trying to sell.
  11. 8 speed? I have a 2016 that does the same thing. At 65k now. I'm original owner and has done it since new. Had the tranny flushed at 35k for other reasons. Had no affect on this "feature." Seems to be normal for the 8 speed. A buddy has a 2017 Sierra and has the same complaint.

  13. Noticed mine leaking around the pan area about 2 weeks ago (2016 with around 57k). Dealer found the pan seal leaking like others above. Said they have seen a fair number of them. They replace the whole pan and reseal, to ensure the pan isn't tweaked from prying it off. Luckily still under powertrain warranty. Been about a week since it was fixed. I need to climb under and check to see how sloppy they were with the sealant and ensure that stopped the leak.
  14. Haven't yet. Still under powertrain so hoping they cover if I can get it to replicate.
  15. I had this same issue yesterday. Reset the codes. Happened again today in nearly the same spot on the highway on my way home from work. 2016 Silverado LTZ 5.3 8spd
  16. Did you read through the thread on exploding rear windows? Sounds the same. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/209824-2017-sierra-denali-rear-window-exploded/
  17. Need the Google app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox Or the AndroidAuto app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.projection.gearhead
  18. Like others have mentioned you may have to long press. If that's not working, you may need to resync how the action is processed on the phone. With phone on and connected via Bluetooth, long press the button. You sound see a dialog on phone asking which app to process the action with. Select and choose the "Always" option. If that was the issue you should be good. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  19. Rear ones drop through the space between fenders and bed. I did the same with one of mine and it dropped through. I would think the center ones over the wheel wells do the same. Maybe it's laying on top of the fender liners?
  20. Same thing was happening on my 16. Dealer found a TSB and reprogrammed. It stopped the issue, but I noticed that it no longer beeps with every increase of the "sonar" waves on the DIC. It only beeps when I'm in the final/"red" zone. Don't really like how it operates now.
  21. Hood is not a direct swap from a 2500 to 1500 Silverado. See post 38 for an idea of what you would need. Basically a front end swap.
  22. I was being a smart@$$ more than anything. But if you can't see it to get some kind of tool on to grip/pinch it, not sure what other option you have.

  24. I would suggest a clear bra / paint protection film for any painted front end. It's an added cost but protects from any rock chips. Several threads on the forum discussing if you want to learn more.
