Leaf spring slap fix DIY?

Anyone been able to solve the rear leaf spring slap issue in a do it yourself manner? What kind of materials did you use. Just stick a piece of hard rubber in there and strap it down or .............?

How do you know when you have leafe spring slap? I think I might have it.

I think I have a case of the slap!

 

I just ignore it. From what it sounds like to me is if you go over a speed bump (at speed) and hear something that sounds like two plates of metal slapping together. Kind of like when in a weight room and someone drops the stack of weights back onto the stack. If this is not it then I got something else.
