3:08 gears in 6.2 ...huh?

When re-gearing, the gears I pulled out were definitely 3.08. Had to call East Coast Gears to have them send me out the conversion kit (new carrier and ring spacer) for the new gears, that only needs to be done for the 3.08.  I was very surprised, because the spec sheet from the dealer when I bought it says 3.23 gears.

You need the conversion kit with 3:23 gears. I talked to East coast gears about my truck 6.2 with 3:23 gears. 3:42 and higher you don't need the conversion kit. I bet you have 3:23 gears.
