Buddie of mine totaled his truck, his is a 2010 Sierra SLT mine is a 2011 Sierra WT, I’m already taking the carpet, seats and center console (I have the 2 cup holder one he has the 3) my question is, mainly doing this just to get rid of the tan interior door panels and plastics within the truck,  would I be able to take the SLT door panal put it in my truck and wire it up sepritly from the main truck harness to use the power windows ( I’ll take to take his window regulators). And answers will be greatly appreciated!!!!!! :P

Would it also be worth a shot shot to paint the interior plastic from tan to black? And just go that route

Your BCM might need to be re-flashed to the SLT tune. Probably gonna need the harness too, the WT edition might not have it.

You absolutely can. It wouldn't take much effort either to change I would however wire them up separate just so you don't have to run wires though the dash unless you wanted to. Would just make it easier.

I would also take the IP fuse block where the circuit breaker is for the doors. Everything else will still work it will just have the breaker. You Will have to run a wire from the breaker through the door boot and into the door to connect to the drivers door switch.

Going to walk you through this the best I can. It is doable, I have done it. Take the harness out of the old truck for the door and install it in the new door as well.Very easy to disconnect.

First remove the IP fuse block (beside the brake pedal) and when you have it out Go to connector 4 which is the Light Grey connector and install a wire (I would go with a 12 gauge Red wire and You will need a  Terminal ( https://amzn.to/2Wts951 ) to slide into the A1 spot. If you dont have the pliers to crimp the terminal get  ( https://amzn.to/2SdYw8l )

Run that wire through the door boot and to the switch. Connect that wire to the driver door window switch connector 1 on terminal 2.  The same terminal will go into that slot as well.

Run a terminal into the Terminal 6 slot with a black wire and ground that wire out to the window regulator bottom bolt. ( Use a round wire connector )

Run another red 12 wire from terminal from the DDM fuse on the fuse block connector x4 termianl B4 useing the same terminal and run it though the door boot and connect it to terminal  4 of the window switch using the same terminal.

Here is the tricky part. You need a wake up signal.

Goto your BCM and go to connector x3 ( light blue ) and tap into wire terminal 10 ( Dark green) with a 16 gauge wire and run it though the door boot to the switch at connector X2 terminal 9  and use a terminal ( https://amzn.to/2FUYBIx ) to install in the spot. This will be the wake up signal from the BCM.

This is how you would do the drivers door using the oem equipment. If this is something you would like to do let me know and I can get you the connector end views and schematics.

If you don't mind not going OEM, which would be a lot easier. I would 2 toggle switches where my cubby is using this video with a relay for power and be done with it. I can help you both ways. Just let me know.
