Which Tires for my Big Dually?

Just wondering what kinds of tires you guys are running on your 3500's.

 

I was looking at either a BFG all terrain or maybe a mud terrain in the 255/85/16 range.

Any thoughts on these good or bad?

 

Also looked at Interco Truxus Mud Terrains in a similar size. Anyone else have these tires? How are they?

 

My rims are only 6.5" which limits tire width but what about the tires touching in the rear? Would that cause any issues like heat buildup etc?

Heat is a big killer. Low air pressure causes heat, and overloading of tire(s).

Six & one-half inches width isn't bad.

Depends upon surface traveling majority of the time, if street use, I'd go with All Terrain.

Our dually truck that we have runs 235/85/16s in the E load range and it seems to handle that size ok .
