CHMSL on with Cargo

Does anyone know how to fix this? My red third brake light comes on when I activate my cargo lamps. If it matters - I have LED cargo lights in the third brake fixture and today I added LED bed light strips. Weird thing is it appears to not be at full brightness. 

 

Sorry if this has been addressed before. I tried searching for threads mentioning both cargo and third brake light.

Did you do the cargo/reverse diode mod? If so I would double check that you put the diode in correctly.

I have not done that mod. The only mods relating to the cargo lights are the ones listed. LEDs and LED bed strips.

Any other red lights coming on when you turn the cargos on? If not, I recommend removing and inspecting the light housing and checking to make sure the red light is in fact lighting, make sure the sockets and wires are not shorted in some way, and make sure you are using the correct bulbs.

Yes I checked. My tail lights are not turning on with them. That’s the only red one.
