I found this interesting while I was on bobistheoilguy.com forum. Thought that a few might find it interesting as well. This is the link to the forum part. Just click on the link in Bob's post and check out what happens to Lucas.

Info on Lucas

The posts in the forum are some interesting reading. Kind of makes you wonder just exactly what is going on in the engines with oil additives.

Thats some cool info! However they are biased toward that Shaeffers a little IMO. And that stuff looks nasty right out of the bottle (If that was right out of the bottle). I dont believe alot of stuff unless I do the test myself but who knows? I never use any additives anyway so.....

We've put lucas in all of our 18's and mechanic's work trucks because they are all high mileage and they have improved the life of the trucks dramactically

Personally, I don't believe in additives. I have heard some pretty good things about lucas though. Some people swear by it.

I think we are sponsored by Lucas lol we keep a few cases in stock.

My dad's work truck has 250K on it for a 97 hardbody and it doesn't use a drop of oil between changes

Oh buddy, I've been over on Bobs site for a while reading posts on Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer and I'm more confused than ever!

There are just too many choices out there nowadays to know what's good and what's not.

I didn't really believe that test because he's taking small ass gears and trying to convince people that the same will happen in rear ends or the motor when the conditions are never going to be the same.. I want to see him do the test with one of our 60 bogie rear ends then maybe I'll consider believing him.
